Careeb was started in 2007 by Naveed Ahmed as a personal project to develop Web based software that enables people to link to eachother through different types of links and hence study how people are connected to eachother in the real world.
In July 2008 3 other software developers teamed up with Naveed and decided to establish Careeb as a company. Based at Hyderabad, India Careeb is currently in the process of incorporation as a private limited company as per Indian Companies Act 1956.
